The 2010 Battle of the Senates!!!!

On Saturday, October 10th, in Wallingford, CT, 22 teams that represented TNBA Senates from Albany, Boston, Providence, New Haven, Hartford, Springfield, and Bridgeport competed in the "Battle of the Senates" bowling tournament, sponsored by the 40 Boards bowling club out of New Haven, CT.  Our own Greater Park City Bowling Senate sent 5 teams to the tournament.  The competition was very fierce.  Out of three games, the cut-off to make it to the next round was a little over 2200.  3 out of 5 teams made it to the qualifying round.  2 out of the 3 teams left made it to the semi-finals.  1 team made it to the quarter-finals where an aggravating ten-pin miss on a spare cost the team a trip to the championship.  However, we would like to congratulate that team which consisted of the following bowlers:  Lloyd Price, Nicky Merrola, Cindy Nuzzi, and Daniel Bryant.  We would like to applaude them on their effort and for representing the Greater Park City Bowling Senate.
