As far as bowling is concerned, Jenis Pegues will be coordinating with the officials at the Lilac Tournament. Once your team is final, you or the team captain must see Jenis Pegues to fill in your teams spot as well as your doubles and singles spot. There are only 50 slots available for teams, doubles, and singles and they will be filled according to who pays their money first. Everyone is responsible for forming or joining their team. There are mixed teams and same sex teams. There is also a No-Tap Tournament being held that same weekend. If you are interested in bowling on more than one team, a mixed team, or bowling in the No-Tap Tournament, please let Betti Teel know as soon as possible. She is in charge of the itinerary and would need that information. If you have any other questions, please email the following officers:

Greater Park City Doubles Tournament
On Saturday, December 5th and Sunday December 6th, The Greater Park City Bowling Senate hosted their first annual Doubles Tournament. Despite the Fairfield County Tournament also being run on that same weekend, we were able to accomodate 134 teams. We sold out every slot on Saturday and we finished strong on Sunday. Congratulations to our first place prize winners, Sean Warren and Naisha Arthur who are 2 of the founding members of the Greater Park City Bowling Senate. Their score of 1612 was hard to beat and they took home the 1st Place Prize. For the Final Standings please click here. For Payout, please click here. For Singles results, please click here. We ran a very successful tournament and I want to personally thank our tournament directors, Tony Lewis and Jeff Dais for a job well done!!!! In addition, we like to thank our Treasurer, Dyrene Meekins for her swift turn around with the payout as well as our lane monitors and volunteers who aided in the smooth running of our first tournament! We like to thank Buddies Pro Shop, Dominic Griek, and the great staff of Nutmeg Bowl for their hard work and assistance during our tournament. From our homes to yours, we wish you a very safe and prosperous holiday season and we look forward to resuming our Senate's rise to the top in 2010.
TNBA's Eastern Regional Tournament
On Friday, November 13th, 2009, about 25 members of the GPCBS boarded a bus for Baltimore, MD to participate in the 49th annual Tournament. The weekend was full of unexpected surprises and a lot of laughs. Overall, we had a successful trip. Due to the long day on Saturday we were unable to attend the King and Queen dance, but we were able to meet the King and Queen and also the President of TNBA, Dr. Michael L Boykins and Vice-President, Gregory P. Green. The Greater Park City Bowling Senate was warmly welcomed and we enjoyed our weekend very much. We particularly like to thank Sandi Griffin and her staff for taking care of all of our problems during our busy weekend. Stay tuned for pictures from the Eastern Regional Tournament.

The Greater Park City Bowling Senate Story!!!
Pictured are some of the members of the newly formed Greater Park City Bowling Senate during their trip to the Lilac Tournament in June that was held in Rochester, NY. Before we were an organization, a few of us thought it would be a good idea to travel to another tournament and get away from CT for the weekend. We heard about the Lilac City Tournament and decided that we should go. It first started out with 10 people saying that they would like to participate. 10 soon grew to 20 and 20 grew to 30 thereafter. It was at this tournament that we heard and witnessed what TNBA was all about. We met Senate members from Niagara Falls, Buffalo, Rochester, Syracuse, Albany, Queens, and Detroit, MI and they all encouraged us to join TNBA. The fellowship and camaraderie was contagious. It could be described as a very loving and spirit-filled atmosphere! That's what sparked the GPCBS. Just like many members of the TNBA, bowling is more than just Strikes, Splits, Pots, and Spares.... It's all about love and the joy you gain from being around each other!!!! This is just the beginning!!!!!
On August 15th, 2009 at approximately 7:45 p.m., the Greater Park City Bowling Senate, in the presence of the Eastern Regional Field Director, Ms. Betty Williams, and members of the Insurance City Senate in Hartford, CT, became incorporated into the TNBA family. Since it's inception, membership has grown to over 100 members and we are still growing.
If you are interested in joining the Greater Park City Bowling Senate, membership is only $15.00 a year and you do not have to be a bowler to become a member in this organization. We can use your help in many areas of our organization: scholarships, fundraising, baking, or just your mere presence. We look forward to continuing our rise to the top. Come join us!!!
Sincerely yours,
Eldorado Anderson
GPCBS President
